Spirit of the Mustang - March

Submitted by andrea.pond on

The teacher I want to give the Spirit of the Mustang to is just beginning his career, but he is already becoming a master at accommodating students both with and without special needs. He sees each student as an individual and approaches their needs with just that in mind. He has come to my room several times after school to discuss individual students and means of meeting their needs. He is always happy to make adjustments to teaching or testing methods while keeping his expectations for student achievement high.

Student Jager Anderson interviews Governor Herbert

Submitted by andrea.pond on

Jager Anderson was able to interview the Governor last week during legislation.  Jager requested to interview the Governer for his 9th grade English project.  The Governor asked that he relay a message to the students of Mapleton Jr High.  The message is "If you want a good job, get a good education!"  He named Jager the official ambassador for the 9th grade class of the Mapleton Jr High.  Great work Jager on representing MJHS!
