The 3-D Design art class at Mapleton Jr. High recently explored "installation" art.  Installation is a contemporary 3-dimensional art form that typically focuses on transforming the space of a specific site.  Students studied examples of professional installation examples.  Then as groups, they conceptualized, constructed, and displayed their own installations in the school halls for all the student body and faculty to contemplate and enjoy.  Enjoy the slide show.
