MJHS Yearbook Project
The MJHS Yearbook staff has been learning about marketing-- outbound, inbound, and viral. For their final project Kimmy Bird, Abbie Cannon, Jacey Cardon, Adrian Gamez, and Collin Jensen wrapped the principal's office in holiday paper. The talented group had to make a plan, write a proposal with a rational, projected cost, completion time, and alternate plans. Then they had to film the entire project. After filming, the group had to create the movie to display their work. Click here to view their final product.
Christmas Prank...
Dr. Anderson's office was pranked today! The yearbook staff wrapped her office up nice and pretty with a big bow!
Teacher Spotlight
Our teacher spotlight is Linda Woodfield. She is our foods teacher, and the kids love her class! Her favorite food is Mexican, and her favorite color is red. She has played the organ at church since she was 14 years old! She attended BYU and is a faithful cougar fan. She loves to quilt, and likes the camp in the mountains, but is just fine staying home in Mapleton. She is married and has 6 children, and 13 grandchildren. When she retires, she will be ready to spend more time with them, while remodeling her house! Thank you Mrs.
Winter Choir Concert
Last night the MJHS Winter Choir Concert was held at Maple Mountain High School. The boy's and girl's choirs have worked so hard and did an amazing job! Thank you to Mr. Diehl for his dedication and hard work in teaching his students.

"Songs for Sadie" Fundraiser
This year for our fundraiser, we will be raising money for one of our fellow students, Sadie Powers. Sadie was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and Gastroparesis which means her stomach has essentially stopped working. To help Sadie and her family we will be collecting money for Sadie and her many medical bills as well as an insulin pump for her. For every donation, a student will receive a musical note on which they can write a brief note to Sadie. These notes will be hung on the wall in the commons, and later given to Sadie as a "Song for Sadie".
