Dance Company Halftime Performance
"At the Boys Basketball Championship Game on 2/3/22, the Dance Company had the opportunity to perform at halftime. They performed a hip-hip dance, "Champion," choreographed by the class officers: President Coco Dension, Captain Sierra Jacobson, Choreographers Kaitlyn Curtis and Ella Walton. Even with the music being quiet and cutting out at the end, the students powered through and kept going. They were fabulous and they loved performing for the giant crowd. Great Job!!"
9th grade English learned about masks
Students in 9th grade English learned about masks worn at masquerade balls. Students created their own masks designed to reflect a particular emotion or personality. We have some very creative students at MJHS!
Mrs. Hatch's Class Spotlight
Mrs. Hatch teaches English 9, English 9 Honors, and Yearbook. In English 9 Honors, they do logic puzzles once a week to begin class. They are currently studying Romeo & Juliet, and students read, listen, and reflect as they go. They watch movie clips to reinforce what they read--"movie days" are fun.
