7th Grade Collage of Cultures

Submitted by cathy.page on Mon, 10/28/2013 - 11:54

Recently, the 7th grade Utah Studies students completed a unit of study about the 5 Native Tribes of Utah. After learning about the culture of the Natives, they were able to compare the culture of the Natives to their own culture. They were able to draw symbols that represented the Natives on one side and symbols that represented themselves on the other side. These students did a fantastic job! We are so proud of the hard work and effort they are putting into this project! The students are as follows:

Submitted by cathy.page on Tue, 10/22/2013 - 14:34

The 8th grade US History students have recently completed a unit of study about exploration. During this unit, the students completed a brochure that would entice early Europeans to come to the newly discovered Americas. It was a horrible journey with a high probability of death so they had to get creative! These students did a fantastic job with their brochures! They were creative and went above and beyond the expectations. Great Job! The students are as follows: Front row: Cayla Giles, Eric Legere, Valeria Andrade, Emma Scott, and Sierra Freeman.
