Dear MJHS Parents and Students -

MJHS Annual Charitable Fundraiser Begins Today!

Giving is not just about making a donation, it’s about making a difference. Our annual school fundraiser started today and will run through December 11th. Bring donations to your first period class - there will be drawings for awesome prizes as you donate! Fundraiser proceeds will go to Sub for Santa (buying gifts for those who can’t afford Christmas) and creating gift baskets for our first responders, nurses and doctors. Last year was very successful and we want to do even better this year - Watch the donation meter in the commons area for daily progress!

PLEASE READ - Important information for Parent Teacher Conferences 

Due to current COVID-19 conditions - Parent/Teacher conferences scheduled for this Thursday, December 3rd, will be conducted by Zoom appointment ONLY. Please be advised that teachers will not be available for walk-in visits; also please note that not all, or even most parents will need to schedule an appointment. We are encouraging that ONLY those parents with concerns in a specific class, set up Zoom appointments with specific teachers. Teachers will be available from 3:30 - 8:00 p.m. to hold these conferences and appointments will be for approx. 10 minutes or less. This is an attempt to greatly reduce face to face traffic during P/T Conferences. If you feel that you do need to visit with a teacher that evening, please reach out to them directly through email to make the Zoom appointment. Spring Musical Tryouts

Attention all actors, singers and dancers: this spring, MJHS will present "A Night on Broadway", a theatrical performance with musical numbers from many beloved Broadway shows! The performances are scheduled for March 4, 5, 6, and 8, and all students are invited to audition. This year, auditions will be done by video and submitted online. Students will have until December 11th to fill out an online audition form and attach a video of their audition. It’s Not Too Late to Join MJHS Wrestling

Just a reminder to register for wrestling ASAP. The season officially started last Tuesday but today is really like the first day. Remember that there are now 18 girl’s weights and 18 boys’ weights we need to complete a full team. This year is the first year for Utah to sanction girls wrestling and NEBO school district has embraced this effort. Now we just need more girls to join the team. For both boys and girls you need to fill out the paperwork on www.registermyathlete.com (including proof of a physical exam) as well as pay the fee to Mrs. Carey at the finance office. Practice will run at 2:30 p.m. every day this week except Friday. 

9th Grade Basketball Tryouts

Try-outs will be held today and tomorrow for both Boys and Girls at 3:00 p.m. If you have not registered your athlete yet, please do so as soon as possible. All athletes trying out for the team must have a current physical uploaded and be registered on www.registermyathlete.com.
