We're delighted to share some musical magic that unfolded at the recent State Jr. High Honor Choir event! Our talented students, three in number, immersed themselves in an incredible experience rehearsing with peers from Jr. High/Middle schools across Utah.
The culmination of their dedication and hard work took center stage at the renowned Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City. Together, they presented a captivating program that resonated with the audience, showcasing the unity and talent of Jr. High students from all corners of the state.
Join us at Mapleton Junior High School tomorrow for our Mustang Showcase/Parent-Teacher Conference! Open to families of 7th-9th graders, this event runs from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Teachers, sporting Mustang gear, will be available in classrooms to discuss courses and student progress. Explore maps, class cards, and displays in the main gym, presentations in the wrestling gym, and enjoy student performances in the Cafetorium. Food trucks at the front of the school ensure a delightful evening celebrating our school and students. Don't miss out on this informative and fun event!
Ms. Wells and Ms. Hickman both were awarded the "Spirit of the Mustang" award. It is given monthly by faculty and staff of the school to a peer who is deemed deserving by the previous recipient of the award. Congratulations to them!
This week at MJHS is spirit week. The kids get to dress up. At lunch time they will be playing games and competing
This week the Writers Club enjoyed a visit from local author Lance Conrad. He shared helpful advice on how to make writing more magical for readers. Students enjoyed his energetic presentation and look forward to reading his books.
