LAGOON Information
The last day to pay $29 for the bus ride to Lagoon is this Friday. If your child will be getting their own transportation (a parent or the Front Runner train), they do not need to turn in the permission slip, that is only for the bus ride from our school. Also, if they ride the bus to Lagoon, they need to ride the bus back to the school. (Please talk to admin for extenuating circumstances.)
The link to pay Lagoon for the park fee ($54) will be coming May 1.
Lagoon Day-2023

MJHS Writers Club Update
On Thursday, the MJHS Writers Club went on a writing retreat to BYU. First, we started our retreat at the BYU Research and Writing Center. After a short tour of the center and some writing time, students were paired up with a college student tutor who gave them feedback and help on their writing. After the writing center, we spent some designated time in the library for individual writing. To top it off, we went to the Creamery for lunch. The Writers Club was a success this school year, and we look forward to continuing the club next year.
Early Morning AP Exam
These kids have been preparing all year for the AP Human Geography exam the first week in May. Today they had the opportunity to take a full length practice test. In order to prevent it interfering with other classes they had to be to school by 6 AM. This a great group of dedicated and driven kids!
