The annual eye-check for our 8th-grade students is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24th. This initiative aims to assist students who may have vision challenges. Kristen Pearson was awarded the Spirit of the Mustang. Kristen is our attendance secretary at MJHS. We’re lucky to have her!
The captains for fall sports at our school were able to participate in Captains Academy this week. They met with other students from the schools in our district to discuss leadership and sportsmanship.
Kyle Francom from Payson High School presented on qualities of a leader. Wendi Nelson from Springville High School talked about sportsmanship.
The final presenter was former NFL and BYU tight end Chad Lewis who stressed the importance of being yourself, loving your parents, and being a good example.
