MHJS 7th grade students have just finished working on a difficult project. They have been writing draft after draft of Product Reviews. Each student Wrote their very own and they have been working on them for quite some time. They started out by talking about how Product Reviews are so helpful to Companies everywhere! They then learned about the different types of genres that Product Reviews have. Then they picked out their favorite product, restaurant, or business. They have written their own Product Review for whichever they chose to write about. They started out writing a first rough draft and then had a partner check and mark the different parts of the Product Review. They also had a different partner check the writing to fix any grammar,spelling, capitalization, etc... mistakes. After they fixed it all up and polished it as much as they could, they wrote a final draft with all of the new fixes and improvements. They finished by typing it up on the brand new net books (Net Books are a new system where your whole class uses a mini lap top that come in huge metal boxes!) and submitting it on line for everyone to see.
