These kids have been preparing all year for the AP Human Geography exam the first week in May. Today they had the opportunity to take a full length practice test. In order to prevent it interfering with other classes they had to be to school by 6 AM. This a great group of dedicated and driven kids! 

All students and faculty at Spanish Fork High are safe. This was a false report of an active shooter at Spanish Fork High.  Police responded quickly and lockdown protocol was immediately put into place. Police swept the building and deemed it safe. As a result, your school was either on lockdown or lockout for a short period of time.

We appreciate the quick reaction of our local law enforcement and administration. 
 

MJHS students attended the Teen Author Boot Camp on Saturday where they attended breakouts with well-known authors and rubbed shoulders with other aspiring teen authors.

Mapleton Junior High School is buzzing with excitement as one of their own students, Tyson Pugmire, has been making waves in the National Indoor Track Championships. With his incredible talent and hard work, Tyson has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with on the track.

In the preliminary round of the 400 meter race, Tyson ran a blistering time of 51.88 seconds, putting him in the top eight athletes nationally. This impressive feat alone is enough to make anyone proud, but Tyson's journey was far from over.
