Springville Library Teen Night

Springville Library Teen Night Springville Library is inviting all MJHS students to spend their Fall Break Friday night at the library. The fun begins this Friday, October 18th at 6:30 p.m. There will be snacks, a movie, crafts, games and book prizes. This month it’s a Halloween Party: Decades Dance, so students are welcome to come in costume if they want. Grades 7-12 are invited, the library is closed to everyone but teens.

Thank You Mapleton City Senior Group!

The Mapleton City Senior Group presented  a $400 check to local Mapleton schools. Representatives from Mapleton schools, Mapleton Jr High (Kate Henderson),  Hobble Creek Elementary (Linda Baird), Mapleton Elementary (Julie Peery) and Maple Ridge Elementary (Sara Matis) were invited to a lunch to receive these donations.  The donation money was raised by the Mapleton City Senior Group by having a yard sale.

Join Us for a Special Parent/Student Presentation

All Nebo School District parents and students are invited to attend a special presentation on October 21st in the Springville High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. It is entitled PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION and will be presented by Dr. Christy Kane Ph.D., CMHC. Attendees will learn key solutions to help teens navigate “life in progress” and other information that is intended to strengthen families and kids. The presentation discusses the difficulties teens face in today’s complex social media world as they sort through the journey of progress versus perfection
