On Thursday March 21 Trevor Jeppson attended the Central Utah Science and Engineering fair held at Brigham Young University for students of all ages. Trevor won the 7th and 8th grade division qualifying him for one of the grand prizes which is a trip to the National fair held in Washington DC. In Trevor’s division there were 11 competitors and for the grand prize there were around 200 students. Trevor’s project was a shake light test, in the test Trevor measured the amount of light given off and the voltage used by the light. In order for Trevor to be chosen for the national fair he must submit several essays to the national board and be picked from a pool of students from around the country. We are so proud of Trevor and wish him well in the next round of the competition.
