So far we have had a great in U.S. History. In our classes we do many interesting, fun, and exciting projects. During our Exploration Unit we learn about explorers and why they would go on long and dangerous journeys. Students completed a travel brochure similar to those you would find in a hotel or airport advertising the good things about the new world. Students used the three motivating factors for exploration that they learned about, Gold, Glory, and God, to illustrate the good things about the “New World”. Students enjoyed using their creative energy to construct very good and informative travel brochures. These fun projects keep students engaged and allow for an authentic learning experience. Any explorer that would see one of these brochures would have undoubtedly come to the new world! Great job students of Mrs.Rowley's and Mr. Nalette's classes
