Nebo School District PEAK Awards highlight employees who showcase "positive energy and kindness". We are proud to announce that our counseling secretary, Mrs. Nora Bird, was recently honored with this award. The following was submitted with her nomination:
“Nora Bird is the first person new students meet when they come to register. Not only is she outgoing and friendly, but she also helps the students and their parents feel comfortable when they walk in her office.This year there were a record number of new student move-in's. Mrs. Bird took the time to sit down with each student and their parents, provide them with all of the information they needed in a friendly, professional manner, and help them get ready for the new school year. This required more than just getting them a locker and register for the right classes.Additionally, Mrs. Bird helped prepare them emotionally as her outgoing personality got them excited for the new year.”
It is an award well-deserved.
