Expanding your Horizons Girls STEM Conference

The Women’s Success Center at Utah Valley University is pleased to offer the Expanding Your Horizons conference thiscoming Saturday (March 14). This STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) focused conference is designed for 6th - 8th grade girls to introduce them to a variety of exciting careers they can pursue if they continue their education. There will be 50 workshops available including: Pilot, Robotics, Computer Programmer, Civil Engineer, Graphic Designer, Geologist, and many more!

For parents and educators, specialized workshops are available that will provide educational and career resources to help girls succeed.

 

REGISTRATION/COST: The online registration system is closed, but registrations are still open. It is $25 (payable the day of the event), but need to save a spot by emailing terap [at] uvu.edu (terap[at]uvu[dot]edu) or calling (801) 863-8498. Registration fee includes two energizing keynote speakers, interactive booths, commemorative t-shirt, lunch, snack, and a packet of conference materials! In addition, one parent or educator may attend free of charge for each 5 students they bring to the conference!
