December Spirit of the Mustang - Kelly Cook

Submitted by devin.jackman on
Recently, I watched the movie Cinderella, the theme throughout the movie is "have courage and be kind." I immediately thought of Kelly Cook when I heard those words (and the fact that she loves Lilly James in the movie seemed the most appropriate way to describe Kelly).  Kelly has taught me so much about love and compassion in the short time that I have known her. Everyday I watch her show up for her students, treating them with dignity and respect. When dealing with difficult situations, she exemplifies the importance of responding instead of reacting to the students.
