What will the verdict be? Will Andrew Mason be found guilty or innocent of assaulting a police officer? The 8th grade US History students are in the midst of their own mock trial and are doing AWESOME! From lawyers, judges, witnesses, jury members, courtroom artists, reporters and bailiffs, all students are taking part in making this years' mock trial one to remember. Thanks for all your hard work!

Teachers have such a huge impact on young minds.  With that kind of responsibility, this becomes more than a job.  It’s an adventure and the direct impact on students is very real.  In all my years of teaching, I have been lucky enough to have incredible examples, compadres, and wonderful friends because of my profession.  There are a handful of us left who were at the middle school where I felt support and love despite the pressure of being a first year teacher, and want to recognize one of them today.
