Ms. Heaton graduated from Mountain View High School in 1993. She then earned a bachelor’s degree in English Teaching in 2001 from BYU. She has also earned two graduate level endorsements in Special Education and Reading from BYU. She is now an 8th grade English teacher here at MJHS. One of her favorite treats is Peanut M&Ms. One style she wishes would never come back are bell bottoms. Her favorite Disney princess is Snow White and when she worked at Shadow Mountain that was her nickname. Her favorite vacation destinations are National Parks. Her favorite cookie flavor is chocolate and her favorite sport to participate in is dance. Thank you Ms. Heaton for teaching our students here at MJHS!
