7th Grade Utah Studies Students go to “This is the Place State Park”

On Thursday March 27 half of the seventh grade students at MJHS loaded bussed and header to “This is the Place State Park” in Salt Lake City.  Students went through six learning station that gave them a hands on learning experience about many things they have learned in the classroom.  Students were able to pull handcarts, visit a school house from pioneer times, and see working blacksmiths shop.  The weather was a little frightful with rain and snow, some sun and was true to form with the type of weather pioneers had to endure.  Overall, it was a great day filled with learning and fun!
