Spirit of the Mustang - December

Submitted by andrea.pond on Tue, 12/02/2014 - 12:58

Melissa is not only a wonderful caring teacher; she is a fun and caring coworker. She is a supportive department member on both a professional and personal level. Melissa is always willing to share ideas and collaborate with other teachers. But even more meaningful than that, Melissa celebrates others’ successes. Her genuine caring makes the English department stronger and those around her feel welcome and loved- an important element in any new teacher’s career. I personally have truly appreciated Melissa’s support on both personal and professional fronts.

Spirit of the Mustang - November

Mrs. Jessica Low is the type of teacher I aspire to be. Her quick wit and keen intellect provide the icing on the cake of a classroom experience that is the grounded in the curriculum and best-practices of her subject. She patiently collaborates and assists her team each year, puts in countless hours of research and lesson planning, and is a fierce advocate for teachers and public education. From “Dr. Who-ifying” her writing units to dealing with some of our most difficult students, she is both creative and professional.
