Mr. Mohler graduated from Spanish Fork High School. He then went to UVU and got his Bachelor’s degree in History Education. He then earned a Master’s degree in Education Administration from SUU. He now teaches AP Human Geography and World Studies to 9th graders. One of his favorite treats other than Built bars or BBQ chips.

Faculty Spotlight: Mr. Southworth

Mr. Southworth graduated from Lehi High School. He then got his Bachelor's degree in Science Education from UVU and a Master's degree in Science Education from WGU. He also has a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from WGU. He is now an 8th and 9th grade science teacher. One of his favorite treats is a Reese’s. The style he wishes would never come back is JNCO pants. If you don’t know what these are, you should look them up!

Mustang Smackdown Update

Due to some scheduling conflicts, we have had to make a couple of adjustments to our Mustang Smackdown (Lunchtime intramurals)

Volleyball will be from March 21st through April 1st. (Teams of 6 sign up information can be found on the posters in the halls or the school website)

and 3 on 3 basketball has been moved to April 11th through April 22nd. (If you signed up to play 3 on 3 basketball you won't need to sign up again and brackets and teams are already posted by the gym. The start date has just been changed to April 11th.)

Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Bradford

Ms. Bradford graduated from Spanish Fork High School. She is now one of our front desk Secretaries. One of her favorite treats is Reese’s. If she could go back in time she would go to the 80’s so that her and Ms. Carter could be in Steel Magnolias. Jason Aldean is her celebrity crush. Her favorite vacation spot is Hawaii!

Author, Chris Crowe, visited MJHS today. He talked with all of the 8th graders about his book, Mississippi Trial, 1955, and the process he went through to write about Emmett Till. 

Faculty Spotlight: Mrs. Caldwell

Ms. Caldwell graduated from Queen Creek High School in Arizona. She then went to BYU and got her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She now teaches science to our 8th graders. One of her favorite treats is a Twix. The color of her toothbrush is PINK. Her favorite brand is Lulu Lemon but she says that it is so expensive it breaks her heart !
