Speed Debating in Mrs. Anderson’s class. Students practiced using
ethos, pathos, and logos while making some strong (and very
passionate) claims.
Mr. Peterson Honors classes played Zombie tag and looked at how it resembles exponential growth.
We want to help you promote the love of reading in your community.
Libraries, schools, and non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for support to host their own Mini Reading Marathon. Support ranges from $100-500.
October's School Community Council Meeting will be held Tuesday, October 11th at 3 pm. This month's agenda and the previous month's minutes can be found below.
The Theatre 2 and 3 classes got to attend a performance of "Romeo and Juliet" at UVU!
Noah, a 9th grader and former student of Ms. Heaton, wrote some original poetry, and Ms. Heaton put his work in her classroom poetry post for students to read and enjoy. Thanks, Noah, for sharing your talents with us.
Mrs. Jones' class had the opportunity to visit the Mapleton Fire department… they had the fun experience of watching the firefighters rush out to an emergency call. Afterwards they enjoyed some playtime and pizza at the Mapleton city park. Pizza and playtime with our peer tutor buddies is the best!!!
On Monday September 26th there will be no school for students. Teachers will be participating in professional development classes.
