Sam Mele, 9th grade and Kate Nadauld, 7th grade, were recognized by Springville Mayor Wilford Clyde and the Springville City Council as outstanding students and were presented the Mayor's Recognition Award in January 2014. Principal Anderson nominated Sam providing the following comments, "Sam is an excellent example. I love his positive energy and great attitude towards life". Mr. Baum, 7th grade Counselor nominated Kate. He is impressed with Kate's willingness to help others, from helping new students practice their locker combinations to inviting them to eat lunch with her and her friends.
We are enormously proud of these two students and their representation of our school and community.
