This year the MJHS HOPE Squad helped to collect and deliver 370 stuffed animals to The Bank of American Fork in Spanish Fork. This would not have been possible without the generous donations from many MJHS students! Emily Westercamp, Gracie Miller and Harrison Nemelka helped deliver the stuffed animals to the Bank of American Fork in Spanish Fork onDec. 16, 2015. The Bank of American Fork has been collecting stuffed animals for the past 18 years and MJHS has been involved with collecting the stuffed animals for two years now.   This year the Spanish Fork branch collected nearly 6.000 stuffed animals that will be donated to the Family Support and Treatement Center in Orem, the Family Support Center in Midvale, and the Family Connection Center in Layton.
Todd Harrison, manager of Bank of American Fork in Spanish Fork, told the students that the total number of animals donated this year across Utah is roughly 93,000. These stuffed animals bring love and joy to countless children across Utah who have been traumatized in some way. The animals are also used in therapy situations to help young children cope with loss, trauma and/or abuse.
Thank you MJHS for your generous support and donations! We are proud to belong to such a great school and community!Image removed.
