Dear Students and Parents,
Teacher Development Day - Early Out
We want to remind all parents that next Monday, September 16th will be a district wide minimum day for staff development (SDD). No lunch will be served and school will be released at 11:25 a.m. with buses running accordingly. Please be aware of this early out so that you can make any necessary arrangements.
Check-Out E-books Online in Sora
Sora by Overdrive is a great resource available to students and staff in Nebo School District. It is free and provides access to hundreds of ebooks and audiobooks. On the Sora app, students can take and export notes and highlight and comment on what they're reading. Sora will save all their notes even after the book has been returned. The Sora app can be downloaded on most electronic devices - Easy directions can be found by going to the Nebo home page www.nebo.edu clicking on Students Home Page and scrolling down on the left hand side to “Library, Digital (Nebo)” Here is the direct link - http://www.nebo.edu/overdrive There you will find easy directions on how to download the app and use it to check out ebooks and audiobooks.
Uplift Parenting Conference
The Uplift Parenting Conference on September 28th held at theThanksgiving Point Show Barn is an initiative of the First Lady of Utah, Jeanette Herbert. Five different presenters will be giving “Tips Talks”. Presenters include: David Osmond, Brad Barton, Jessie Funk, Collin Kartchner, and Clay Olsen.
