For the past two months, the Foods Students have been saving money to go to the LaCaille Restaurant, in the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake. They specialize in French Cooking, and give the students a chance to try foods they would not normally encounter, such as Escargot. Students are taught about dining etiquette, and get a chance to practice those techniques at this 5-Star restaurant. Students are taught about napkin placement, how to seat ladies, which fork to use, and how to gracefully remove the Escargot from its shell. Students are required to dress in their Best Dress, including dresses or blouses and skirts for the young ladies, and shirts and ties for the young men.
