Dear Students and Parents,

Lagoon Day Information Coming Home This Friday

Can you believe it’s that time of year again? Information and permission slips regarding this year’s Lagoon Day on May 23rd will be coming home with students this Friday, May 3rd. Bus ticket sales will begin on Tuesday, May 7th and continue until available buses fill up. Bus tickets will cost $15 and entrance tickets to Lagoon are $35. Students will purchase their bus ticket in the front office from Mrs. Carey and will purchase their entrance ticket when they arrive at Lagoon. Please be aware of the following criteria for participation in Lagoon Day: All outstanding balances for lunch and/or other school fees must be paid; Citizenship grade cannot be an N or U in more than 1 class.

Lunch Accounts and Other School Fees and Fines

The school year is quickly winding down and with that we remind parents to make sure that your student’s lunch balance is caught up and kept current.  Also, please make sure any outstanding balances for school fees or fines are taken care of ASAP with Mrs. Carey in the front office. PLEASE BE AWARE that in order to receive a yearbook on May 22nd and to qualify for Lagoon all outstanding balances owed must be paid in full. Your help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Talent Show Is Coming

It's time for the School Talent Show! We are looking for top notch student acts of, singing, dancing, acting, instrumental pieces, garage bands, etc. All MJHS students are welcome to try out for a spot in the Talent Show assembly. To sign up for an audition time, please see Mrs. Rowley in room 211 between May 1st and 3rd. Auditions will be held on Monday May 6th after school in the cafeteria. If you need more information, talk to Mrs. Rowley or Mrs. Bryant.

Yearbook Sales Will Continue until Sold Out

Your last chance to buy a yearbook is coming up quickly - If you haven’t paid for a yearbook yet and would like to buy one, you need to pay the $30 cost to Mrs. Carey in the finance office. Because there are only a limited number of yearbooks remaining and we cannot order more, yearbook sales continue on a first come first served basis until they are sold out.
