Dear Students and Parents,

Yearbook Sales Will Continue until They Are Sold Out

Your last chance to buy a yearbook is coming up quickly - If you haven’t paid for a yearbook yet and would like to buy one, you need to pay the $30 cost to Mrs. Carey in the finance office. Because there are only a limited number of yearbooks remaining and we cannot order more, yearbook sales continue on a first come first served basis until they are sold out.

9th Grade Activity Day

Attention all 9th graders!!! 9th grade day is going to be held on May 1st. We will be going to classic skating in the morning and then to a park for pizza, games and a soda bar! Parent permission slips will be distributed in your Social Studies classes today and tomorrow. You will need to have the completed permission slip in hand in-order to buy a ticket. The tickets will cost $5 and will be sold in the commons area during second lunch, April 17th through 23rd.

Apply Today to Serve on Springville Youth Court

Application is currently open for all Springville and Mapleton Students in grades 9-12 on the Springville City Website; www.springville.org/youthcourt  Applications will be taken until April 30th.  The new court will be chosen by June 1st.

Springville Youth Court is a great opportunity for students wanting to serve their community and learn more about the legal system. The Youth Court hears cases involving juveniles committing crimes that are classified as Class B Misdemeanors and under. Youth Court is used as a restorative justice program to keep youth out of the Juvenile Court System.  Student volunteers serve as jury members, judge, bailiff and mentors. The Youth Court receives referrals from the Springville and Mapleton Police Department. Youth Court is also an option for all infractions committed at schools within Springville and Mapleton when referred by an administrator. Here is the city FB post link regarding the application: https://www.facebook.com/SpringvilleCity/photos/a.282816388415384/2404814036215598/?type=3&theater
