Dear Students and Parents,

End of Third Term

Please note that the end of the term is coming up quickly, on Thursday, March 14th.  That is just two weeks away. Students: Please check with teachers to get any missing work gathered, completed and turned in by each teacher’s cut-off date (usually several days before that last day of the term). Parents: please encourage students to work with their teachers to get any missing work or tests finished.  Be the Change... to achieve high levels of student success!

You Can Still Enroll in 9th Grade Honors English

We are extending the deadline for Honors English 9 applications through Friday, March 8. If you have an 8th grade student who wants to take Honors English next year and he/she has not yet turned in an application form, please complete and return the form by this Friday. Applications can be picked up from your English teacher, the counseling office, or from Mrs. Hatch. Please return the completed form, along with a writing sample, to your English teacher. Honors English is similar to regular English, but we study a little deeper and move a little more quickly. If your student prefers a more challenging class, make sure they apply for Honors.

Follow Up from 9th Grade High School Visit

Today all 9th graders visited either MMHS or SHS for Sophomore Orientation.  They received important registration information and forms. These forms need to be completed and returned on Friday, March 8th, with parent signatures.  The counselors from the high schools will be in our building on Friday to help students get registered and collect the registration forms. The registrations will be done during their social studies class.
