PTO Extends Invitation for Next Year’s Art Show Coordinator

The PTO would like to appoint next year’s Art Show coordinator so that they can see it run this year and become familiar with the process. If you would be willing to be involved as the Art Show PTO coordinator next school year please contact Jennie Green at adamsgreen [at] gmail.com (adamsgreen[at]gmail[dot]com) This individual does not need to be artistic, as it mainly is an organizational position responsible for the following: Organize and Display Entries, Create Advertising Posters, Organize Judges and Distribution of Prizes. It is not very time consuming, other than the week of the Art Show.  The individual will also be invited to serve on the PTO Board.

Utah Valley Visioning Workshops

Utah County is projected to double in population by 2050. There are important implications of this growth for quality of life and future economy.  With this in mind, the Valley Visioning organization is seeking input from Utah County stakeholders and residents to form a common vision for the future. To this end, they have created a survey for the public that can be found by clicking this link -  https://utahvalleyvisioning.org/   They are also holding a series of public workshops to get more hands-on feedback and information from community members throughout the county. The workshops will include instant polling questions, interactive mapping activities, and refreshments. All residents are invited and highly encouraged to come voice their desires, concerns, and opinions. For locations, dates and times click the previously mentioned link.
