Mustang Message 10/28/19

Dear Students and Parents,

 

Halloween Costumes

As we have done in the past, students will be allowed to wear a Halloween costume to school this Thursday, October 31st. Make sure if you choose to wear a costume it follows these requirements: All costumes must meet the same modesty and dress code standards as regular school clothing; all costumes must meet safe school requirements with regards to weapons/violence etc., No masks or painted faces. These guidelines are intended to help school function as normally as possible and your cooperation is appreciated.

 

Fall Dance

What’s up Mustangs?  It's almost Halloween so you know what that means, another SPOOKTACULAR dance!  Come join us on Wednesday, October 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Admission is $4 with Student ID Card and $5 without. Remember to wear a costume!  Cookies will be served. See ya there!

 

School Musical

Calling all actors, singers, and dancers! This spring, Mapleton Jr. High will present “Annie” for the school musical.  Auditions will be held after school on November 18th, 19th, and 20th. If you are interested in auditioning, pick up an audition packet and sign up for an audition time outside of Miss Cook’s room (#302)

 

It’s Not Too Late to Join Mustang Wrestling

All 7th through 9th grade students are invited to participate in wrestling this year. Paperwork must be submitted on RegisterMyAthlete and fees paid before you can practice. Click here for step by step directions on using RegisterMyAthlete - http://mjhs.nebo.edu/news/information-register-my-athlete  Fees must be paid in the finance office. Drop by the wrestling room after school and visit with Coach LaMont if you are interested or have questions.

 

Drivers Ed. Class Starting Soon

Springville High School is currently taking sign ups for the November Drivers Ed. Class. If you are 15 years of age and you have a current Learners permit you can sign up at the Finance Office at Springville High. SHS Soccer

Springville High School boys soccer open gym begins Nov. 6th at 6:00 p.m. @ the Fieldhouse in Salem (161 E 400 N, Salem, UT 84653). Interested 9th grade athletes must be in the SHS boundaries to participate.

Nov. 3 - Daylight Saving Time ends
