From lawyers, judges, witnesses, jury members, courtroom artists, reporters and bailiffs, all students are taking part in making this years' mock trial one to remember. Teachers have such a huge impact on young minds.  With that kind of responsibility, this becomes more than a job.  It’s an adventure and the direct impact on students is very real.  In all my years of teaching, I have been lucky enough to have incredible examples, compadres, and wonderful friends because of my profession.  There are a handful of us left who were at the middle school where I felt support and love despite the pressure of being a first year teacher, and want to recognize one of them today.
